Golf Event: City Park Nine Tuesday Morning Group

The Tuesday Morning Group is a group of senior men and women golfers who love playing low-key competitive golf within a structured environment.  The TMG formed several years ago with many of the original members still playing today. 

 

We play a low-key competitive style of golf with weekly money games including low net, skins, closest to the pin, fewest putts, etc. Weekly money games include both pro shop credits and cash payouts.

 

In the fall, we conduct a match play tournament for league members.  Prizes include cash and traveling trophy for the tournament winner.

Where: Arapaho Bend Natural Area, parking lot off of Strauss Cabin and E Horsetooth Roads. Approximate address is 4109 E. Horsetooth Rd. When: Tuesday September 17, 9:00am - 11:00am Program Description: Discover a special natural area along the Poudre River in southeast Fort Collins. Learn about the Indigenous people and homesteaders who once called this region home. Explore the river corridor and ponds that provide habit for many species of plants and animals. Learn about the recreational opportunities enjoyed in this natural area. Accessibility: Program takes place on uneven dirt and paved trails. 1.5 miles, easy. Program is appropriate for mixed ages, including families. Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring multiple layers for both active walking and standing still. Bring sunscreen, a hat / sunglasses, bug repellant, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. Trails may be muddy so please wear proper footwear. Hiking poles are a great option if you are concerned about balance on uneven/muddy terrain. The Gardens at Spring Creek Event: Garden to Fork: Brassicas: Brilliant and Bright

Sip on wine and garden infused water as we explore the beautiful colors, textures and flavors of the brassica family. Packed with flavor this delicious menu will feature Seared Sesame Crusted Feta with Broccolini , Ricotta and Roasted Cauliflower Gnocchi with Kale and Lemon Cream Sauce and Crudités with Grilled Turnip Bagna Cauda followed by a cold sweet treat. This class is hands-on, all participants will help create the meal and savor the flavors under the setting sun. (Menu can be GF or Vegan upon request)

CP9 Women’s League Information

 

General Information:

The City Park Nine Women’s Golf Association provides a 9-hole shotgun start every Wednesday morning. We hope this provides fun, companionship and low-key competition for all members. This league is open for registration all year and is looking to add new members. All ages 18+, and skill levels are welcome are welcome to join.

 

Dues and costs:

Dues for the season are $75. This includes the GHIN fee, club expenses and game of the day proshop credit for prizes. Each golfer is responsible for their green fees, tournament fees and cost for tournament lunches.

 

Time and Dates:

Wednesday mornings starting in April and going through the end of September.

With our expertise, you will be able to safely master riding the bus independently and with confidence.
