Sip on wine and garden infused water as we explore the beautiful colors, textures and flavors of the brassica family. Packed with flavor this delicious menu will feature Seared Sesame Crusted Feta with Broccolini , Ricotta and Roasted Cauliflower Gnocchi with Kale and Lemon Cream Sauce and Crudités with Grilled Turnip Bagna Cauda followed by a cold sweet treat. Where: Prospect Ponds Natural Area, South Entrance. Access the parking lot by turning southeast at the intersection of Sharp Point Dr. & Midpoint Dr., driving between 2 ponds, past the Drake Water Reclamation Facility. If coming by bike on the Poudre Trail, the parking lot is at the 5.25 mile marker of the Poudre Trail East. When: Thursday, September 19, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Program Description: This will be a relaxed easy walk along some of our most beautiful water spots where we can take some beautiful and interesting photos. We will meet at the south parking lot of Prospect Ponds Natural Area. We will walk around and beside 4 ponds and the Poudre River. The entire hike will be on the Poudre Trail which is wide, flat and well maintained. If conditions and time permit, we will also hike downriver to the end of the Poudre Trail at the CSU Environmental Center where there is a public restroom. The total distance will be 1-2 miles. Program may be modified based on weather. Accessibility: This program has been designed with accessibility in mind and is open to everyone. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring in multiple layers for both active walking and standing still. Bring sunscreen, a hat and gloves, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. You may wish to bring binoculars, if you have them. Hiking poles are a great option if you are concerned about balance on uneven terrain. Men's City Championship July 19-21.  Field split between City Park Nine and Collindale on the 19th and 20th with the final round at Southridge for all golfers on the 21st.  

Where: Coyote Ridge Natural Area, meet in the parking lot at the trailhead When: Sunday, July 21, 9:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. Program Description: Wear your most PRIDE-ful outfit during this hike for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies! Explore natural areas and their importance to our local ecosystems and our own mental health and wellness. This hike will be an out and back to the cabin, about 2.2 miles total. Restrooms are not at the trailhead but about 1 mile along the trail. Hikes are intended to be a safe and inclusive space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to gather. Allies are welcome, please be mindful of the safe space. 13+ Accessibility: Program includes walking out and back, about 2.2 miles on a wide, flat, dirt road with one big hill each way. No shade. Restroom not at trailhead, but 1 mile down the trail. What to Bring: What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring multiple layers for both active walking and standing still. Bring sunscreen, a hat / sunglasses, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. Trails may be muddy so please wear proper footwear.
